The one day workshop is designed to highlight the key IT security threats, fraud, risk and regulatory issues affecting financial institutions, Government agencies, public and private organizations in the daily operations.
Banks have been seeing a surge in banking fraud committed. On a recent survey conducted on banks in Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania and Zambia this year.The survey noted that threats like hacking, malicious insiders, card skimming, electronic files manipulation, IT controls circumvention, unauthorized penetration and careless employees have surged as new banking systems intended for cost efficiency began to rise.
